Looking after the environment should be a priority for everyone, and indeed making sure Hard Jelly has the lowest environmental impact it can has always been at the top of our list of Jelly Commandments.
When we were considering our options for packaging Hard Jelly we made sure to use materials that could be easily broken down and reused... and we're happy to report that from the ground up, our packaging is 100% recyclable!
Our shipping boxes and outer packaging are entirely cardboard, so that can all be popped into your recycling bin without a second thought.
Our pots and lids are made from PET (Polyethylene terephthalate, if you want to get technical), which is a versatile plastic that is quite simply 'made to be remade'. Indeed, it's the most widely recycled plastic in the world (go on, Google it!).
Almost all UK councils recycle PET plastic so make sure to drop your empty pot and lid into your recycling bin, and enjoy the warm, fuzzy feeling that your jelly treat really didn't cost the Earth.
